There are two types of Counselling:


A. Central Level Counselling

Conducted by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC)/ Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India for:
  • All India Quota Seats of States (15%)
  • All AIIMS (All Seats)
  • JIPMER (Puducherry/Karaikal)
  • Banaras Hindu University
  • Aligarh Muslim University
  • University of Delhi (LHMC, UCMS, MAMC)
  • IP University (VMCC, ABVIMS, RML)
  • ESIC insured persons Quota seats of ESI Colleges
  • Armed Forces Medical College, Pune
  • Deemed Universities



B. State Level Counselling

Conducted by respective State Governments for:

  • State Quota Seats (85%) in all Government Colleges within State
  • All Seats in Private Medical Colleges within State
  • All Seats in Private Autonomous Institutes
  • All Seats in Private Universities
